Network ports used by LTSP services

LTSP Specific ports
Port Type Description
9100 - 9102 TCP Printers, served by lp_server
9200 TCP ltspinfo - used for querying info from the client
9202 TCP lbuscd - running on thin client, waiting for a session to connect up and register
9210 TCP Default port for ltspswapd (NBD Swap Server)
Standard services
67 UDP DHCP (dhcpd listens on this port for DHCP Requests from clients)
68 UDP DHCP (dhcpd sends replies to the client at this port)
69 UDP TFTP (client connects to port 69 on the server to download the kernel)
111 UDP/TCP Portmapper
177 UDP XDMCP (XDM,GDM,KDM)
1067 UDP Commonly used as an alternate for DHCP-67
1068 UDP Commonly used as an alternate for DHCP-68
6000 TCP X Protocol uses this port for connecting client apps with the Xserver
